Eileen Helen Reese was born on October 31, 1954, the daughter of Herbert and Evelyn (Wallace) Teigland. She grew up in Winnebago, MN where she attended elementary and high school.  After graduating, she was trained as a dental assistant and worked in Albert Lea for Dr. Wayne Sletten.  Eileen was united in marriage to Steven Allen Reese on October 24, 1981 in Winnebago, MN. Upon having children, she decided to stay at home to raise her children and care for the animals on their hobby farm.   Once her children were in high school, Eileen worked as a paraprofessional at Glenville-Emmons Public School until retiring.  She was active in the community and served as clerk on the Oakland Township Board, was an active member in the Sunset Saddle Club, and was heavily involved in the Myrtle 4-H Club. Eileen was passionate about riding horses, a passion which started at a young age at her grandpa’s farm.  She also enjoyed photography, creating wooden crafts, and painting.  Later in life they raised and showed Jack Russell Terriers.

Eileen is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Andrew (Lindsey) Reese and Matthew (Miranda) Reese; grandchildren, Izabella, Harper, and Gavin; siblings, Herbert (Colleen) Teigland and Elaine (Michael) Poole.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Evelyn Teigland; and good family friend, Kenny Freund.

Eileen was characterized by her joyful smile, upbeat personality, and willingness to serve others that can only be credited to the grace and joy found in Christ Jesus.  She was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed.
