Arlynn Elaine Anderson, 95, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle, MN. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Karen Peterson will be officiating.

Arlynn was born on November 29, 1930 to Walter and Caroline Broitzman in rural Gordonsville, MN. She married Marvin Anderson on June 20, 1948 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Northwood, Iowa.

After marriage, Arlynn was a devoted housewife, working side by side with Marvin farming. She also took pride in providing loving care of their children. She was a part of the Glenville Legion Auxiliary, the Red Hats Society, and the Ladies Circle of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Arlynn and Marvin loved their fishing and camping trips, For their honeymoon, they went to Inguadona Lake in Longville, MN. They would return to the lake every year for their anniversary, and sometimes they would even go a couple extra times during the summer. In the winter, they would go ice fishing to Mille Lacs Lake up north. During the winter, they would stay in Texas and Arizona with their camper for several weeks to escape the cold. After Marvin’s passing, she enjoyed going on many bus trips with the senior citizens and with her friends to Branson, MO and across the country. She could also be found watching the birds, and dancing with Marvin to their favorite polka hits. But most of all, she cherished the time she got to spend with her family, especially with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Arlynn is survived in death by her children Sandi (Bill) Severtson, Steven (LeAnn) Anderson, Jeanette (Paul) Johnson, and Linda (Tom) Lorenzen. Grandchildren Michele (Dave) Dahlk, Dawn Severtson, Robert Severtson, Paul (Heather) Anderson, Chad (Brooke) Anderson, Carolyn Rasmusson, Joel (Shannon) Johnson, Andy (Tasha) Johnson, Ben (Maizong) Johnson, Erin (Joey) Hornberger, Fallon Lorenzen and Lindsey (Ryan) Madsen, Eric (Lynnel) Lorenzen, along with 26 Great-grandchildren, 5 Great-great-grandchildren with another great-great grandchild to be expected soon. Sister-in-law Pauline Coffelt; brother-in-law Tom Fulkerson, and many nieces and nephews.

Arlynn is preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin Anderson; loving daughter Carol Jean Anderson; parents Walter and Caroline Broitzman; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Emil and Silda (Wolff) Anderson. and 4 sisters-in-law and 5 brothers-in-law.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation of thanks to the staff at St. Croix Hospice and Thorne Crest, for all their loving care. She loved you all.

She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Gone, but not forgotten always in our hearts.
