Arville Peterson

Arville Peterson was born on September 25, 1919 on the family farm, the son of Lauritz and Gena Nelson Peterson. Arville attended the one-room schoolhouse of District #21, as did his siblings. Arville, along with his two brothers, took over the family farm that had been purchased by their grandparents in 1856. Arville was a life long member of West Freeborn Lutheran Church. Survivors include his sisters, Myrtle Bomer and Alpha Brekke of St. John's; and several nieces and nephews. Arville was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Norman and Kenneth; sisters; Alice Christenson, Harriet Trueter, and Gladys Raimer.
