In 1957, Audrey was part of the first graduating class of Glenville High School. After high school, she married Marion Mehus on July 3, 1959. After living in Albert Lea for a few years, they decided to move back to Glenville in 1962. They have lived in Glenville ever since.

Audrey and Marion loved to go on memorable bus trips throughout the country to locations which included New York City and Nova Scotia, Canada. They even traveled to Hawaii to visit the places Marion was stationed during his service in the Navy. Audrey was a faithful servant of the Lord and her love brought everyone together. She worked at the Glenville elementary school as a special education teacher assistant and volunteered for many decades at Glenville First Lutheran. After obtaining her clerical degree from Riverland college, she worked as a receptionist at Good Samaritan care center.

Audrey cherished the time she spent with her family which was expressed through her unforgettable hugs and smiles. She loved to bake, cook, and host her family. Some of the family favorites were the sugar cookies and homemade cinnamon rolls which will continue to serve as an everlasting memory of her.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 66 years, Marion Mehus; her son Bradley (Shelly) Mehus, daughter Rebecca (Todd) Kluender, and son Robert (Beth) Mehus.
