Cora Estelle Schultz

Cora E. Schultz was born December 8, 1911, to Orange and Elizabeth Millhouse. She graduated from high school in Alden. On December 23, 1931 Cora was united in marriage to Walter Schultz. Cora and Walter owned the Alden Recreation Parlor. In 1949, the couple began farming and continued until their retirement in 1981 when they moved into Alden. Cora enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and gathering with friends and family. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Alden. Survivors include her son, Gerald "Jerry" Schultz of Alden; grandchildren, Ronald Terri Schultz of LeRoy, Linda Wayne Nelson of Freeborn, and Jackie Schultz of Albert Lea; great grandchildren, Jason Thompson, Katya Fredrickson, Garrett Schultz, Gradon Schultz, and Reece Schultz. Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents; sisters, Nora and Edna; and brother, Elmer.
