Dale Curtis Enser

Dale Curtis Enser, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Bear Lake Concordia Lutheran Church. Visitation shall be held from 4-7 P.M. on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home and for an hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Bear Lake Concordia Lutheran Cemetery following the service. Pastor Lou Peters will be officiating.

Dale was born on April 9, 1961 to Franklin and Yvonne (Yost) Enser in Albert Lea, MN. He grew up in the Alden area. On November 17, 1979 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Dale married Linda Skov. With this union, they welcomed four children: Michelle, Amanda, Holly, and Dylan. He farmed his whole life with the last 38 years working for Richard Steele.

Dale was a man who liked to keep busy and had many hobbies and pastimes that he enjoyed. Every year he organized the Freedom Run tractor ride. He very much looked forward to the Farming of Yesteryear Threshing Show and would keep an eye out for treasures at the flea market there. Dale played dartball for many years. He also liked hunting, fishing, and going on gator rides with his wife Linda. He loved collecting beer signs and mirrors, practically filling the basement with his finds, and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. Above all else, Dale adored his grandkids and cherished his time with family more than anything.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Linda; his children: Michelle (Anthony) LaBerge, Amanda (Greg) Born and Dylan (Sarah) Enser; grandchildren: Ean and Rin LaBerge, Lincoln and Jackson Enser; mother Yvonne Enser and mother-in-law Patricia Skov; siblings: Glen (Linda) Enser and Rhonda (Mathew) Hammitt; and many loved ones and friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his father Franklin Enser; daughter Holly Enser; father-in-law Duane Skov; brother-in-law Michael Skov; close friends Loren Brune and Dennis Steele and his beloved dog Daisy.

The family asks that those who attend the service dress casually in honor of Dale.
