Diane Edith Krock

Diane Edith Krock, age 76, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10 AM-12 PM at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at the St. Casimir’s Catholic Cemetery in Wells, MN. 

Diane was born on August 6, 1949, at the Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to her loving parents, Edward and Marcella (Brown) Krock. Growing up in Wells alongside her sister Elaine, Diane found joy in attending school and forming lasting friendships. She was proud of her work at Cedar Valley Services and cherished her time living in her group homes. Her infectious smile and beautiful laughter brought warmth to everyone around her. Diane found happiness in riding her bike and the companionship of her beloved cat.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine Malakowsky; nephews: Scott (Cathy), John (Melanie), and Brad Malakowsky; great nephews and great nieces: Kaleb, Jake, Adison, Hanah, and Ellie Malakowsky; and by many other family, friends, and loved ones who held her dear.

Diane was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Edward and Marcella.

She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Diane’s REM home for the exceptional care and compassion they provided.
