Donald Brotherton

Donald Brotherton, age 64, passed away October 30, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at the Albert Lea Eagles Club FOE 2258 from 2 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Donald was born on May 4, 1959 in Waukegan, Illinois to Frank and Emma Jeanne (Zimmerman) Brotherton. He grew up in Antioch, Illinois and attended Antioch High School. He later moved to Albert Lea where he lived until the time of his death.

He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, reading old western books and listening to music, especially classic rock and roll.

Donald is survived by his wife, Dawn (Hampton) Brotherton; mother-in-law, Barbara Hampton, brother-in-law, Greg Cameron; sister-in-law, Shari Sipple; sister, Helen (Mike) Rose; niece and nephew Michelle and Shawn Rinaldi.

He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Brotherton; parents Frank and Emma Jeanne Brotherton; brother, John Brotherton; sister, Ellen Brotherton
