Private family graveside service for Dorothy Farnham will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday (5/30) at Graceland Cemetery. Rev. Clayton Balsley will officiate. Dorothy Mae Farnham passed away on May 24, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Community – Woodlands.

Dorothy was born to Charles and Hannah Christensen on October 5, 1922 in Albert Lea. She attended Albert Lea Schools graduated in 1940. On September 4, 1948 she was united in marriage to Blair Farnham. Dorothy worked a numbers of years at the Freeborn County Treasures Office. Dorothy was a member of Bridge Community Church. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower garden, playing bridge, all Minnesota sports. She loved spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.

Survivors include daughter Jane and her husband Dan Johnson of Albert Lea. Grandchildren Kris Senholtz and her husband Joe, Beth Blake and her husband Justin. Great grandchildren Aaron and Ellie Senholtz and Blair and Jack Blake. Niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husband Blair in 1998, sisters Eunice Jensen, Beaty Paulson, Helen Coonradt, and Shirley Imme, brother Paul in infancy. Nephews Steven Paulson and Robert Farnham. Brothers in law and sister in law.

She was known to many as Dot, Dottie Lou or most of all “GG”. She was a very kind and special lady who will be missed by all who knew her, so many great memories
