Evelyn Clara Spielman

Evelyn Clara Spielman, born on July 27, 1923 in Bricelyn MN died Monday, November 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25 at 2PM at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home with visitation an hour prior. Pastor Kent Otterman will be officiating.

Daughter of Henry and Edna (Hunnicutt) Schow. Graduated from Bricelyn High School in 1942. On January 24, 1946 she married Raymond Spielman. Retired from Montgomery Ward. Loved volunteering with the RSVP program and with SEMCAC. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens and Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and crafts.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Schow, many nieces and nephews, numerous friends, and the staff at Hidden Creek and St Croix Hospice who are like family.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond and by her brothers Vincent, Merlin, Dean, Eugene and Harlin, sister Beverly, brother-in-law Alton Oakland, and sister-in-law Edna Hunnicutt.
