Judith Ann Carroll, 82, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Campus in Albert Lea, MN. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Bayview/ Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea, MN. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Glenville. Pastors Randy Cirksena and Charles Alkula will be officiating.

Judith “Judy” Ann (Lind) Carroll was born on August 30, 1943 at the Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, MN to Pete and Clara (Hanson) Lind. Judy graduated from Albert Lea High School in May of 1961. She worked at Skinner’s, Lutheran Mutual of Albert Lea, and Dr. Gandrud till moving to Colorado.

Judy was united in marriage to Harold “Mike” Carroll in Altuna, Colorado on March 30, 1963. She worked at New Method Cleaners as a comptroller in Colorado, then at Merle Hay Farm and Flight Agency as a secretary in Urbandale, Iowa. Then moving to Des Moines, Iowa, she worked at Brady Motor Freight Credit Union as an accountant.

In Albert Lea, she worked at Herberger’s for 2 years, then went to Albert Lea Health Care. She then went to Thorne Crest South for 28 years until it closed. She was also the house manager for the Marion Ross Theater for over 12 years. She also worked at Freeborn County Fair Office for over 14 years, and at the McDonalds on Main Street for over 9 years. She was also the secretary/treasurer for the United Methodist Women of Glenville for over 16 years. Judy was a member of the Glenville United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary of Austin Post 1216.

Her favorite things to do were puzzles, reading, counted cross-stitch, and tending to her flower beds. She loved to spend time with her children and grand kids.

Judy is survived by her children Roger Carroll, Penni (Richard) Mueller, Michael (Angie) Carroll, and Tim Carroll; her 8 grandkids Amber (Jake) Logan, Miranda (Aaron) Hall, Jordan Mueller, Matthew (Madison) Mueller, McKenzie Mueller, Nathan Carroll, Logan Carroll, and Jaydan Carroll; her great-granddaughter Elouise Hall; her 2 brothers Duane (Sandy) Lind, and Jim (Linda) Lind; and her special friends Linda Bighley, Art Hughes, Janet and Keith Iverson, and Julie Ehlers.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband Harold (Mike) Carroll in 2006. Her parents Pete and Clara Lind, in-laws Cyril and Marge Carroll, and grand-daughter Heather Carroll in infancy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the United Methodist Church of Glenville and the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center of Albert Lea.
