He would create elaborate gingerbread houses for Christmas every year, and passed on his knowledge to his children and grandchildren. He did several commissioned pieces for businesses, and even created the Pelican Breeze logo they still use today. His love for art and gourmet cooking encouraged him to visit France on three separate occasions. Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor. He even made some very close friends in his online gaming community. Kevin was a big Minnesota sports fan, namely the Twins and the Vikings. He enjoyed taking his kids and grandkids to several Twins games over the years, including game 6 of the 1991 World Series with his son, Deric, They even ended up getting matching Twins baseball tattoos years later. Kevin was a lot of things to a lot of people. Affectionately known by many names, he was Chef Kev to all of his staff and restaurant friends over the years. He was Uncle Kubby to his nieces and nephews. Online he went by KebMo. And after becoming a grandpa 22 years ago, he was simply Papa Kevin.
