Larry Dahleen

In loving memory of Larry Allen Dahleen, born November 10, 1949, died August 23, 2025 at his home in Kiester, MN.

Larry was born in Denison, Iowa and grew up on a farm by Kiron, Iowa where he attended school. He graduated from Denison High School in 1967 and the University of Iowa in 1971 with an accounting degree.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Catherine Dahleen; sisters, Fanchon Neubauer and Elaine Dahleen; brother Edward Dahleen; late wife Louise Friedrichson Dahleen.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Dahleen; stepson, Sacha (Shari) Yasseri; four grandchildren, Wil, Tait, Simone, Jonas; sister, Cheryl Schillerberg; nephews, Matthew and Paul (Else Marie) Schillerberg; numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry absolutely loved cars! He served on the Kiester City Council and quilted many quilts. Travel and adventure were important to him and he was able to enjoy both.
