Mark Alan Schow

Mark A. Schow, age 72, died Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at his home in Aiken, S.C. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Albert Lea, MN at the Bayview Funeral Home. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Bricelyn Lutheran Cemetery.

Mark was born on January 23, 1953 to Harlin and Margaret Schow in Albert Lea, MN. Mark graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, Il in 1972 where he played football and was on the wrestling team.

He married Debbie Wisniewski and to this union a son, Josh, was born. They later divorced. He married Kathy Long and to this union a daughter, Stephanie, was born.

Mark enjoyed watching sports, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and hanging out with his many friends. He had fond memories of the many long trips he took with his biker friends. Mark was always quick to help a friend in need.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy; daughter Stephanie; and his father Harlin.

Mark is survived by his son, Josh (Jamie) Schow; his mother, Margaret Schow; his sister, Sue (Jim) Moll; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Riley, Mason, Auston, and Jax.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mark.
