Mark Eldo Schwemmler

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Mark E. Schwemmler, age 61, of Emmons, will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Lime Creek Cemetery at a later date.

Mark died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Mark Eldo Schwemmler was born November 4, 1956 in Albert Lea, the son of Eldo and Betty (Sorensen) Schwemmler.  He grew up in Emmons, graduating from Emmons High School in 1975.  Mark spent the past 42 years farming with Loren Stene.  He served as a board member of Lime Creek Cemetery.  Mark enjoyed visiting with friends, watching drag racing, and following Minnesota sports teams.

Mark is survived by his brother Terry (Robin) Schwemmler, several cousins, and his family of friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Eldo and Betty; grandparents, Albert and Ella Schwemmler and Alfred and Ida Sorensen.

Memorials preferred to Lime Creek Cemetery.
