Olen Bradshaw Evans Jr.

Olen (Brad) Bradshaw Evans Jr. passed away April 9, 2024 at Good Samaritan at the age of 71. He was born in Washington D. C. August 16^th, 1952 to Olen Sr. and Victoria (Norstrude) Evans. His family moved to Albert Lea in 1957. Brad attended Albert Lea schools and got a GED diploma and an Optical Technician degree at the Anoka Technical school. He worked in optical labs until he discovered he had a skill for sales and sold glasses until retiring. His favorite hobby was cars and driving. He had a quirky sense of humor and quietly had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.

Brad married Virginia Grabowski in 1980. They lived in the twin city suburbs, then in Plano Texas and returned to the Twin Cities area.

He is survived by his ex-wife and good friend Ginny, their 3 sons, Andrew (Alicia) Evans, Danny (Rachel) Evans and Tommy (Beckie) Evans, grandchildren Mackenzie, Isaac, Amara, Lincoln and Kelsie, brother John (Lola) Evans and sister Tammy Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Richard Carlson.

 A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
