Patricia Ann (Haukoos) Haugh of Albert Lea, MN went home to her Savior on July 7, 2026 at Riley Crossing Senior Living in Chanhassen, MN at the age of 91.
A memorial service will be held on Friday July 17th at Bayview Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Patricia was born in Walters, MN on the family farm on September 22, 1934 to Millard and Bernice Haukoos. She attended a one- room school house, later graduating from Kiester High School in 1953. She was very active in music as a member of the choir and marching band, playing the drums. Additionally, she later taught herself how to play the piano, harmonica, accordion and was an incredible whistler.
Patricia was united in marriage on February 11, 1954 to Harold H. Haugh at Our Lady of Mount Caramel Catholic Church in Easton, MN.
Patricia was a loving, devoted mother to her five children who were the joy of her life. She worked at the Northside School as the lunch and playground supervisor and later as a Guardian Ad Litem supervisor, training many guardians, and as a conservator, advocating for the best interest of children and adults in Freeborn and surrounding counties. She later graduated from the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada.
Patricia’s passions included serving others through her work and as a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was deeply involved in her community as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and serving as the President of the Sons of Norway and St. Theodore’s Council of Catholic Women’s Guild. Patricia loved to cook and bake from scratch for her family. She was always educating herself through various medical books and journals; she never stopped learning.
Patricia had a deep love for the arts, volunteering at the Albert Lea Civic Theater, now known as the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, as a seamstress: sewing and costume making over the years; most notably as Marion Ross’s personal seamstress. Patricia was a long-time member of Civic Music, supported the Albert Lea Art Center, and for many years coordinated the Antique Show held at St. Theodore’s. She was an avid collector of antiques. Patricia designed many clothes for her family including her daughter Kathy’s wedding dress, a prom dress for Anne, and altered all of the bridesmaid’s dresses for her daughters’ weddings.
Patricia will always be remembered for her infectious laughter and kindness towards everyone.
Survivors include her children Kathy (Joe) Reuter of Viroqua, WI; William (Sandra) Haugh of Silverado, CA; Mary (Timothy) Colleran of Chanhassen, MN; Anne (George) Johnson of Austin, MN and John Haugh of Minneapolis; Grandchildren Anthony (Farid) Reuter, David (Aly) Reuter, Michael (Alex) Reuter, Thomas Reuter; Nathaniel and Nicholas Haugh; Alex (Kayla) Colleran, Gina (Aaron) O’Tool and Jack (Grace) Colleran, and Logan Regner; Great grandchildren Wolfgang, Georgia, Calvin and Rory; brother Ron (Mary) Haukoos, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Albert Lea and the Alzheimer’s Association.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at Riley Crossing Senior Living and Brighton Hospice for their compassion and care for our dear mother and family.
