Ronald Dean Drescher was born April 20, 1949 in Albert Lea, the son of August and Hazel (Hanson) Drescher.  He lived on the family farm his whole life. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church and remained a life-long member.  Ron graduated from Alden-Conger High School in 1967.  On May 24, 1977, he was united in marriage to Connie Jean Oster at the Little Brown Church.  Ron loved the farm life, especially livestock, and attending county fairs.  He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Connie; sons, Tony (Carreen) Houfek, Steve (Laura) Houfek, Matthew Drescher, Adam (Shanna) Drescher; grandchildren, Nathan, Bradley, Andrew Houfek; Alliana, Megan, Emma Houfek; Brooklyn and Aubrey Drescher; great grandchildren, Mason, Griffin, Allison Houfek; sisters, Dolly Gillen, Judy (John) Schwab; many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Hazel.

Connie and family. Our deepest sympathy to you. Ron was always seen with a big smile to help brighten your day, always ready to answer his own question but most of all was a loving, caring person. God Bless and Peace to you all.
