Ronald Eugene Kalis

Ronald Eugene Kalis, age 78, of Albert Lea, MN passed away February 19, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea.  Ronald was born to Arthur and Melinda Kalis on January 4, 1940 in Albert Lea.  He attended Albert Lea High School and graduated in 1958.  He enlisted in the Army in 1963 and was stationed in Savannah, GA.  He attended Albert Lea Technical College for a degree in Accounting.  He worked for Wilson Foods and Farmstead and Seaboard as a security guard.  He also worked in Northwood, Iowa.  He enjoyed traveling, walking, and reading.  He resided in Albert Lea.  He is survived by his niece, Kimberly Lampe, Raleigh NC and brother-in-law, Larry Olson, Albert Lea.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Olson and parents, Arthur and Melinda Kalis.

A graveside memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. John's Cemetery, Janesville, Waseca County, Minnesota.  The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Society and Albert Lea Mayo Hospice services for the care he received.
