Victor Manuel Perez

Victor Perez passed away on 1/30/26 at approximately 9:30am. Victor was 58 years old. A funeral service will be held on at 11am on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea, MN. A visitation will be held the night prior from 5-7pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, along with a half hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at the Panteon Municipal de Maltrata in Mexico at a later date.

Growing up, he would take care of his siblings.Victor enjoyed spending time with his family, eating good food and rooting on the Minnesota Twins. He loved his truck and spent time working on it. He was very playful and always loved to crack jokes. He was very witty and always knew what to say at the right moment. He enjoyed life so much and always tried to seize the day. He tried his best to dress well and put his best foot forward. He always knew how to make you smile if you were sad. People have really fond memories of him just being there for anyone who needed his ear. Especially Joel, his nephew who grew up with him. Victor had a good group of friends whom always supported one another through hardships. Victor really loved his family and they all felt it. He loved them so deeply he would do anything for them. He was such a joyous person that everyone would want to be around him.

De pequeño, cuidaba de sus hermanos. Víctor disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, comerbuena comida y amaba su equipo de baseball, los Minnesota Twins. Le encantaba su auto ydedicaba su tiempo en componer su auto. Era muy juguetón y siempre le encantaba hacerbromas. Era muy ingenioso con sus palabras y siempre sabía qué decir en el momento justo.Disfrutaba mucho de la vida y siempre intentaba aprovechar el día. Intentó vestirse bien y dar lomejor de sí. Siempre sabía cómo hacerte sonreír si estabas triste. La gente guarda recuerdosentrañables de él. El siempre presto atención cuando una persona necesitaba alguien que loescuchara. Especialmente Joel, su sobrino que creció con él. Víctor tenía un buen grupo deamigos que siempre se apoyaban mutuamente en las dificultades. Víctor realmente quiere a sufamilia y todos lo sintieron. Los amaba tan profundamente que haría cualquier cosa por ellos. Era una persona tan alegre que todos querrían estar a su alrededor.
