William "Bill" Anderson

William “Bill” Anderson, 60, passed away at his home in Twin Lakes, MN on Sunday February 15, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea, MN. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Pastor Mark Boorsma will be officiating.

William “Bill” Anderson, 60, passed away at his home in Twin Lakes, MN on Sunday February 15, 2026. Bill was born on July 25, 1965 to William and Frieda Anderson in Rochester, MN. He graduated from Lake City High School. Bill worked as a stocker at Walmart, and prior to that he was with Truth in Owatonna, and with IBM in Raleigh, NC.

Bill was an avid collector. He had boxes full of baseball and football cards, each carefully cataloged. He also collected comic books, and would enjoy going to the flea markets to find a deal or a treasure. Bill enjoyed watching Star Wars, and other movies. He also loved to watch sports and enjoyed cooking as well. Bill really enjoyed spending time gathering with his family, especially during Christmas.

Bill is survived in death by his father Walter Anderson; sisters Karen (Burt) Morlan and Marlene Anderson; and brother Robert (Brenda) Anderson. His nephews Tony (Lacey) Morlan, Eric (Jessica) Morlan, and Christopher Anderson his niece Leslie (Bradley) Weber, and 5 great-nephews and great-nieces.

Bill is preceded in death by his mother Frieda Anderson.
